Interpreting

The interpreting means the simultaneous or consecutive verbatim real-time translation of a discourse. Interpreting may be performed in the "headset" when the interpreter is within a special booth provided with sound rendering system allowing him/her to listen to what the speaker tells while the interpreter simultaneously translates into the microphone for the audience.

This activity type is adapted to the large conference rooms. If the interpreting takes place in a small room, the interpreter might choose to do the "consecutive" interpreting (i.e. waiting for the speaker to finish 1-5 phrases before rendering them into the target language).
